another oldie

This afternoon I watched
Splendor in the Grass, one of my favorite oldies. It holds up. Every so often I need to be reminded how lovely Natalie Woods was. Warren Beaty, too. This was Sandy Dennis's first film. Besides, I love the poem,
Intimations of Immortality, from which the title comes.
Current read:
Augustus by John Williams. Having read
I Claudius for one description of Caesar Augustus, I thought I'd try for another point of view. I usually avoid two sides of an arguement; too confusing! This time I'm glad I did.
